How I work

Approach

With over a decade of experience designing complex B2B, SaaS, and e-commerce platforms, my approach is grounded in real-world constraints, cross-functional collaboration, and a deep respect for the user. I lead with systems thinking, align design decisions with evidence and impact, and thrive in fast-moving teams where clarity, curiosity, and adaptability drive results.

I ground my work in human-centered frameworks that foster clarity, iteration, and alignment across disciplines. While I resonate most with Design Thinking, I adapt my approach depending on the problem space; whether building net-new experiences or evolving legacy platforms.

Methodologies I draw from:

  • – Design Thinking: To keep empathy, iteration, and problem framing at the core
  • – Lean UX: To reduce waste and validate ideas early
  • – Dual-Track Agile: To balance continuous discovery with reliable delivery
  • – Jobs to Be Done: To anchor business needs and design to user outcomes; not just tasks

My goal is always to bridge user and business needs—clearly, scalably, and with lasting impact.

Process

1. Discover & Align

  • – Collaborate to frame the opportunity space
  • – Surface customer insights through qualitative and quantitative inputs
  • – Clarify business goals, define success metrics and traps
  • – Establish common ground early

2. Explore & Ideate

  • – Facilitate collaborative design and concept generation exploring widely
  • Balance user needs, feasibility, and priorities as focus narrows
  • – Prototype rapidly to test assumptions early
  • – Include product, engineering and stakeholders throughout refinement

3. Validate & Refine

  • – Conduct usability testing and synthesis
  • – Refine designs through cycles of feedback

– Maintain transparency as findings emerge

– Use data to guide pivots in direction or expectations early and often

4. Deliver & Scale

  • – Work closely with engineering throughout implementation
  • – Leverage and contribute to design systems
  • – Document, track and measure outcomes, and evolve over time
  • – Take time as a team to reflect, learn, and grow
